You are what you think

Today is a gift and tomorrow is no guarantee. We can’t predict what tomorrow will bring, so the only moment you have is now. Make the most out of being happy and enjoy your life! It doesn’t matter where you are, who you are or what you don’t have in your life. Only you can choose to be exactly who and where you want to be right at this moment. The way you see the world around you is a choice. You can choose to look for the good or you can choose not to. It’s completely and entirely up to you. Change your point of view and your whole life will change too. Stop resisting the things in your life that you can’t control and aren’t the way that you want them to be. Stop worrying about what other people do or say. Start accepting things for how they are, regardless of whether you think it’s right or wrong. When you do this, the resistance starts to melt away and the negative emotions inside your head and heart also start to disappear. Stop doing the things that make you unhappy. Surroun...

Why did I refuse plastic straws?

My friends always ask me why I refuse to use plastic straws. I just don't like to drink my softdrinks or juice with a straw.  For me it tastes better when you drink it in a glass. And lastly,  plastic straws create a big problem for the environment.  Approximately, 1 Billion plastic straws were used everyday. That 1 billion is enough to fill 258 buses. It took the 5th spot in the most found trash on the beaches. It takes so long to decompose. It would actually take 300 years.  YES!  300 years to decompose. They are not reusable. After a single use that would last in an average of 20 minutes,  plastic straws will be thrown away. And only a percentage of it will be recycled. It threatens marine life. And human lives too. While using it,  these plastic straws leaches toxins to our drinks which may lead to hormone disruption and cancer . These plastic straws also enters in our food chain because some fishes will eat its tiny particles.  That is th...

Precautionary Measures

I may not be the prettiest girl in the crowd, but I'd still hope you'd find me beautiful in simpliest forms. My crooked teeth,  my eyebags, my fatty body,  my dark circles,  or every parts that I am insecure about. I hope you won't judge me when I told you about my romantic failures, especially on how toxic my first reltionship was. I hope you still be patient with me even when there are times I feel like throwing fits especially when I am on a period. I hope you would still keep liking me despite all of my failures. And I hope these things doesn't seem much to ask. Is this too much to ask?

Maybe Just Maybe

Maybe our paths will cross again in a few years time and your breathing will become shallow because you forgot how much you loved my smile and I'll tell you how in love I was with you back then I was just figuring it all out and you'll nod and smile and I'll tell you that breaking my heart was one of the stupidest things you could  have done and you'll nod but you won't smile this time because you'll realize I'm right. You'll realize that nobody appreciated you as much as I did and you'll study my face and wonder why you left because everything was so good, you'll wonder if you could take it all back and start again, wonder why you thought you could find someone better but those are the questions you'll have to live with because you know it's too late for us now, but you really wish it wasn't.
